*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

”Sebastian, how is she?” Ciel asked after his butler had returned back from her. Ciel sat in his personal study trying to get his paperwork done when the butler came reporting her aweking.

”As the doctor stated: she has bruses that show that she had suffered some physical violence but it seems that she has no memory of what happened. Also her fewer has rose in a past few hours. I gave her some fish soup and let her sleep some more,” butler answered.

”What did you said that her name was again?” Ciel said while looking doubfull of the situation. Something about it seemed very off.

”____,” Sebastian answered straight away.

”____...” Ciel muttered. ”That's... a unique name isn't it?”

”Yes, defenetly but so it seems that it suits the lady perfectly.”

”Have you analyzed the dress? Is there anything we can know about her?” Ciel demanded and looked very serious.

”Indeed. The dress was carefully made even though there was many signs of carelessness like the fact that the dress had no inner fabric. However the texture and the print still tells that the dress was valued in some way. I've tried to find everywhere where such a fabric could be sold but sadly none was found. It is truly one of its' kind and judging how well it suited the lady, I would say that it was handmade piece just for her,” Sebastian said. ”Sadly there are no other leads that I can look into. Unless she tells more of herself and where'd she came from, there are very little we can know of her.”

Ciel leaned on his hand. He didn't like the answer at all. He wanted to demand the butler to find out the answers but he didn't want to make the call. There was no hurry about it.

”Hmmm.... young master... you look like there's something bothering you.”

”No, I just... have really bad feeling about this. Something really bugs me.”

”Oh my...”

____ hopped over the bed. She had been bed ridden for two days and the butler had been very relucant to let her leave the room. She had rested more than enough, now she just wanted to get out.

The bedroom was big compared to room she had back home. She had big bed for two and huge closet that was currently empty. There were make-up table too but so far it was empty too. She opened the door that she remembered lead to bathroom. It was luxorious.

She tried to remember when was the last time she had taken bath. She tried to look for any towels but clearly couldn't find any.

She sat under the big window that covered only couple minutes ago by giant curtains. The morning had become and it was beautiful. She could see hills and forests far from there and boy, it was gorgeus sight!

She heard a knock on a door.

”Come in!”

The tall black butler named Sebastian walked in with breakfast cart. ”Good morning lady ____. It seems that you are already up. How are you feeling?” He greeted and she walked to a bed and sat on edge while Sebastian revealed the humble breakfast of fresh baked scones. ”Good morning. I'm feeling much better, thank you for asking,” she answered. He smiled back. ”I'm glad to hear it.”

The cart was filled with all sorts of stuff from fruits and baking products, and of course, there were tea. How could any English man start a day without tea? While she ate silently little pieces of everything, she felt those cold fingers on her face again. However she didn't push them away this time. She knew that he was just checking her fever, no big deal.

”Indeed, the fever had gone down. However I would still suggest that you shouldn't stress your body too much today,” Sebastian said and continued standing there looking at her eating. It became akward and she tried to ignore the fact that someone was staring at her every mouthfull.

She swallowed hard before she started speaking. ”Sebastian, may I have a towel? I couldn't find any in this room.” ”Of course, I shall fetch one for you. Perhaps some clean clothes would do good as well,” Sebastian continued and left the room for a bit. It was just enough for her to empty half of the cart in a flash. She was hungry. The end.

Soon Sebastian came back with new clothes and a towel in his arms. He placed them on the bed and took a hairbrush from his pocket. ”I thought you might want this too.” he said and put it on make-up table.

”Thank you Sebastian,” she thanked him.

Sebastian put a hand on his mouth and laughed a bit silently.

”What is it?” woman asked.

”No, nothing at all. It is just very rare pleasure to hear thanks these days,” Sebastian smirked and thought of his young master.

”That's very strange,” she said and walked closer to the clothes that lied on bed. She took them up and inspected them closely. As she raised the black dress up, she noticed that something fell down on floor.

”Sadly we have no much clothes to give at the moment so you have to wear servants' clothes for a moment. We have send a word for our personal dress maker to come here as soon as possible so this is only temporal clothing,” Sebastian said and she folded the clothes back the way it was.

The thing that really interested her rested on her feet and she picked it up.

It was a basic corset.

She looked at it with mixed feelings.

”Is there something wrong, lady ___?” Sebastian asked. ”After bath I'll help you to tie it.”

She stood there for a moment in complete silence.

”Isn't there anyone else to tie it?” she asked.

”No one experts themselves in this matter as well as I do, my lady.”

”And... I have to be... naked...?” she said the last part almost like a whisper. Her face was red like tomato.

”Heh, don't worry about it my lady. I won't take a single look at your body,” Sebastian laughed. She felt completely embarrased about the situation. She wanted to say something, like 'Hell no!' but the words were just stuck to her throat.

There was an akward silence between those two.

”Perhaps my lady would finish her breakfast while I prepare a comfortable bath ready for you?” he said and looked at the tray which was almost empty. ”Oh my... my lady has quite an apetite.” Butler laughed. She blushed even more.

”In that case, please wait herer for a moment. I'll be back very soon,” Sebastian said and dissapeared to bathroom. Many splashing sounds were heard so he was there to prepare a bath ready for her.

She sat on the edge of the bed and looked at her new undergardments closely. Where were her bras? She didn't want to wear corset, she wanted her regular bras! She had heard many horror stories how painful wearing a corset was. Besides she a was a girl of new generation of women that were smart enough to remove that torture device from women's clothing collection.

Soon the man returned to her room. ”The bath is ready. There's soap and everything ready for you,” Sebastian said and let the woman come in the bathroom and look at the products closely by herself. The butler didn't though leave her alone and just stood by the doorway looking at her.

The woman turned to him. ”What is it?” she asked.

”I'll help you to wash your body of course.”

”NO!” She snapped back before thinking what she was saying.

The man seemed shocked by the reaction and he looked wide-eyedly at her for couple seconds. ”...Understood my lady, I'll send a maid to help with your dressing later,” he bowed and walked out the room, closing the door behind him.

He stood there behind the door for a moment.

His eyes flashed in red as his fingers folded in a fist.

The moment of weakness and he did something foolish he wouldn't do normally.

'She isn't some normal human... or a human at all.'

~*~

___ let the water run through her body. The bath was divine. She leaned against the side of the tub and sighed in relief. She had very good impression of Sebastian so far so his comment was more than a shock. Then again, he was a servant and probably just tried to do his job. She was obviously over reacting for nothing. Of course he didn't suggest it in THAT way.

Sudden knock interupted woman's bathing. ”Forgive me for interupting but I was send here to help with your dressing!” A high pitched voice came behind the door. That must be the maid Sebastian mentioned before.

She got up the heavenly bath and told the maid to wait for a moment while she dried herself to a towel. She walked out the bathroom to meet a strange red haired maid with huge bottle glasses. ”You must be ___. My name is Mey-rin. It's a real pleasure to meet you!” the maid said and courtseyd politely.

”Hello Mey-rin. It's a really pleasure to meet you too,” ___ said and smiled to very happy maid.

”Let me help with brushing your hair and get you to your clothes,” Mey-Rin said and ___ sat on a small chair that she took under the make-up table as Mey-Rin started working with her hair.

”You have really beautiful hair!” Mey-Rin commented when they were done. It was brushed and tied up. A blush came to woman's cheeks.

”Oh... what about my corset?”

”I'll help you to tie it even though I'm not much a good at it. Sebastian is much better,” Mey-Rin explained as she gave the woman a white dress to put on. She removed her towel and put the dress on as Mey-Rin waited patiently to give her the corset she told her to hold up while she tied it tighter.

The stories were so wrong. It didn't hurt at all but it wasn't really that tight either. It made her back much more straight than she had before.

After putting the dress on, she couldn't help but to sigh at the plain sight that she saw from the mirror but as Sebastian said: it was only temporal solution.

It was nothing but simple long dress. She felt almost like a nun wearing it.

She put on long shoes with not too high heels. They felt good to walk with. ”They are my spare shoes in the case I would need to change,” Mey-Rin explained. So they were already used? It was relief to hear.

”May I show you around the mansion? Oh... come to think of it, master has ordered to see you as soon as possible,” Mey-Rin smiled.

As Mey-Rin showed the way in the mansion, ___ started feel nervous. 'What kind of master Phantomhive really is?' She intantly thought of an old beardy man. She joked in her mind if the master was like a young handsome youth that looked liked a shonen hero. She had read too much manga for her innocent mind.

Mey-Rin knocked the study's door and announced that there was a quest waiting for him. The door was opened and in front of ladies there stood tall handsome man.

”Se-se-se-sebastian! I've brought _-__-__-” Mey-Rin's face flashed in red as she stumbled on her words.

”Thank you Mey-Rin. I'm sure we can continue from here,” Sebastian said in tired tone as he let the lady walk in the room. Sebastian closed the door behind her.

The person who sat behind the desk wasn't beardy old man or handsome youth... in a way she had pictured it. Was lord Phantomhive... a child?

”You must be ____. My name is Ciel Phantomhive and I'm the lord of this estate,” he introduced himself but the woman just stood there looking stupid until she pulled herself together again.

”Thank you, lord Phantomhive for your hospitality,” ___ thanked him even though it felt strange to call a child a lord.

Ciel looked at the woman from head to toe almost like he would have expected the woman to bring a rabbit out of hat for all sudden.

”Ghrm, perhaps you would like to sit, my lady?” butler said with a smile and took a chair next to Ciel's desk. ”We have a lot to talk about after all.”

She slowly sat on the chair and pulled her hands together on her lap.

”Can you tell us anything about yourself?” Ciel asked as kindly as he could which made butler snicker in shadows.

This was the part that she was so afraid of.

She was from 21th century, she couldn't just tell them her information without second thought. So in the end there were very little she could tell. She couldn't tell where she was from since the place was really different from what it is at 19th century. It was obvious that the work, family and friends were off limits too.

”I'm afraid that there aren't much for me to tell,” she said.

”How come? Explain! ...please,” Ciel added when the butler gave him a warning look.

She looked very uncomfortable. ”I just... can't tell you. Please forgive me for that.” she said and looked to other direction. If she told them that she had come form the future, it would mean the rest of her life in madhouse. It would be one way ticket to there.

Ciel looked even more annoyed.

”Do you have any of my stuff? Clothes, shoes`?” she asked and tried to move the subject elsewhere.

”Oh, right over here,” Sebastian said and gave a folded dress to her and she opened it to look it closely. The pattern was beautiful and it was definitely a modern work. However she never bought it and had never seen it.

”What about shoes and a bag?” She pointed out.

”Bag you say? You didn't have any shoes when we found you,” Sebastian explained.

”If a wore a dress like this, I would have a small bag with me that had small personal items with it,” she said. It would have her cellphone, wallet and some other small stuff that would come to good use in a need.

”We found nothing else than you,” Ciel said and gave a look to Sebastian. Sebastian smiled and gave a small nod.

She was about to ask about her underwear but then she decided to leave it. There was no point asking about that matter from a child.

”... You are free to stay here,” Ciel said suddenly.

”What? For real?” she said in a utter shock.

”...We can't just throw our guest away. But I don't care about slackers so you must prove that you are some use,” Ciel smiled in a impish manner.

____ sat there in silence. He was going to let her stay just like that?

”Thank you!”

”There's no need for that-”

The sudden hasty knocks interupted the converstation. Sebastian walked to the door and opened it.

”Ciel! There you are!” Prince Soma said cheerfully and he noticed the lady sitting on a chair next to the desk.

”Oh, you are up already! It must be because of the curry,” Soma said. ”What curry?” ”What?! You didn't eat it. Didn't Sebastian give it?”

Sebastian looked very sour for some reason. ”Lady ___ has been very sickly lately. She needed rest and something that was easy to eat.”

”But that was Agni's special curry!” Soma insisted.

”Guys, please...” she said and held her head a bit. ”Could you speak a bit more quiet?”

Soma stared at her for awhile before talking again. ”Okay. Have you seen the mansion yet?”

”Not much, a tour could be fun,” she smiled.

”Then it's decided!” Soma cheered.

She stood up and was about to leave until Ciel stopped her.

”One more thing, ____. Can you dance, sing or play an instrument?” Ciel asked spontaniously.

She looked at him for a moment before answering. ”I dance walz but I sing and play instruments very poorly. How come?” She asked.

”...Nothing...” Ciel muttered while pushing his stare to couple letters that were on table.

”Oh, Agni. Remember that she had just recovered. If she feels like it, you must let her to return to her room to rest,” Sebastian instructed the servant.

”Understood,” Agni answered.

”Okay, ___! Let's go!” Agni took lady's hand and exited the room. Sebastian closed the door and gave a devilish smile at his master.

”You have something in mind?” Sebastian asked.

”Even without her cooperation, we can still find out more about her,” Ciel said and took up dance party invitation.

”Yes, my lord.”

Since the feedback for the last chapter has been SUBERB, I wrote the second chapter right away. I hope you enjoy it.
